  • communicated and solicited input from USA stakeholders on potential actions/ initiatives impacting USA products

  • Product/ new business, process and team development (concept through realization); technical service/ customer interfacing.

  • Patenting of intellectual property.

  • Chemical manufacturing (batch, continuous – thermosets, gaseous), operations, various unit ops, QA/QC and more.

  • Thermoplastic pressure pipe materials, thermoplastic solid wall and composite pipe listed in PPI TR-4 and range composition ingredients listed in PPI TR-2 and/or with NSF.

  • Thermoplastic pressure pipe applications and, geomembranes, micro irrigation (tape, tubing), steel pipe coating and conduit.

  • Long-term strength methodologies to include analysis (ASTM D2837, ISO 9080/ ISO 12162, ASTM F2018, ASTM D2992).

  • Extrusion: profile (pipe, conduit, micro-irrigation tape/ tubing), co-extrusion, cast and blown film.

  • Assessment of written work (e.g., technical journal articles/ papers, presentations, training modules, messaging, etc.)

  • Nondestructive testing (NDT - ultrasonics and microwave technologies) for the inspection of thermoplastic pipe and fittings.

  • Six Sigma and Apollo Root Cause Investigation processes.

Instructional Design

Identified the need for, designed, implemented and refined:

  • courses/ workshops delivering foundational knowledge and used to connect industries

  • auxiliary resource courses complementing the in-house onboarding process of various companies

  • processes that focused resources/ gained efficiency while allowing innovation to flourish and improving transparency, which in turn, reflected the integrity of the organization.

  • the structure of technical and non-technical information, which facilitated learning and understanding of the "layers" and their intra- and interconnections

  • team structure(s), which gained efficiency, improved collaboration and communications internal and with stakeholders.

Meeting Planning

  • Planned/ executed small group meetings (25 - 30) to global technical conferences and exhibition (300 – 400 registrants 3-dys).

**NOTE: The global conference was a shared responsibility within the 3-person core team and PPCA BOD.

 Up to 40 countries (55% host region, 45% outside); 100 technical presentations; up to 30 exhibitors.

  • Established, tracked and adjusted budgets to address the planned (e.g., F&B, pick-ups, meeting space, AV, WiFi, etc.) and unplanned (e.g., pandemic, inflation, etc.)

  • Reviewed and negotiated contracts to include NDAs and hospitality related (e.g., hotel, exhibition, meeting space, dinners, etc.)

  • Designed, structured and delivered messaging targeting respective technical and non-technical audiences.
